Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Kid Power! Each year, hundreds of volunteers and mentors make Kid Power a truly transformative experience for local youth. Without the aid of volunteers, like you, DC students would be unable to meet the goals the organization was founded upon.

Why volunteer with Kid Power? The future is with our youth! As a volunteer, you have an opportunity to learn about Kid Power programs and empower local youth while fundamentally making a change in our communities that need it the most. Whether you want to help our After-School Instructors during academic enrichment; our PowerUp! program by hosting a Career Site Visit or workshop; our VeggieTime team in creating healthy eating habits; or becoming a mentor, we are happy to have you join us! Kid Power volunteers not only become mentors but role models who build meaningful and lasting relationships with DC youth.

High School Youth Opportunities: Kid Power provides high school youth seeking community service hours with volunteer opportunities throughout the year. If you are interested in volunteering with Kid Power, please complete the volunteer interest form or reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] or 202-963-2620.
