Andria Tobin

Andria Tobin has worked with under-served youth in Virginia, Arizona, and Washington, DC for nearly 20 years. As Kid Power’s Program Director for seven years, Andria worked closely with youth and families helping her develop an understanding for the depth and complexity of youth needs in DC. and an awareness of guiding youth development principles. In 2012, Andria transitioned to Executive Director where she has guided the growth of the organization to serve 50% more youth, increased revenue by 60% and created a reserve fund, established new partnerships, and supported city-wide youth-friendly policies as a DC Alliance of Youth Advocates Vice Chair.
Andria began her professional career working in therapeutic group homes supporting youth with severe emotional and behavioral challenges. She continued working with this population by facilitating a successful transition to adulthood for her foster daughter. She has a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.P.A. with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from American University, where she graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society.
